Where The Spirit Meets The Bone a 5 day Movement Meditation workshop with Emma Roberts Reclaiming the sacredness of form
With our body we are in the presence of a force and intelligence that is filled with wisdom, creativity, and that is loving and worthy of our deepest devotion. It is so easy to forget this when daily life demands us to over ride our bodies natural sensitivity. When we dance, move with awareness and imagination we begin a process of remembering who we really are. Dancing is a medicine that awakens what is deeply known in our very cells. It connects us to our essential nature. The body and it’s integral connection to spirit becomes our sacred home. The holy ground where Spirit Meets The Bone.
Read more on the benefits of the longer workshop format The Long Form Workshop - We take the ordinary material of our life to the hidden wisdom within our body, and the collective body of the group. The workshop space acts as a liminal space to enter into territories often unconscious to us, to then being known, experienced and engaged with. A well conceived beginning and end of such a space, with rich soil in the middle, becomes an alchemical pot for transformation. Even if this is a micro shift in ones perception.
My years of facilitation of the workshop space has come to see it as a modern long form ceremony. It works with the elements of spirit, our conditioning, healing and our potential to evolve. This is all grounded in the home of our body. We take our time to arrive deeply into the dance, and our time to ground and integrate back into daily life. Within these 5 days, we will have time to slow down, connect, explore, share, create, rest, digest and return to a greater sense of well being.
