My Body, My Dance an Online movement meditation class Solo Practice Zoom Dancing at home Online classes Every Wednesday evening 7pm -8.30pm UK time .
Before the class begins please make sure you have paid.Please make paymentshereand then register onto Zoom. There is a sliding scale for the class of £5 concessions/£8 low wage/ £10 working. Most importantly I want everyone to be able to dance, so if the above amounts are too much please pay what you can.

What to expect & ways to support preparation Solo practice develops your inner resources and gives the individual a unique experience of being held within a group intention and the holding of a teacher but in the intimacy of your own home and environment. This is a very different experience to dancing in a group and at the same time it gives the individual the opportunity to strengthen the tools to develop a strong sense of grounding in the body. In preparation to the class it can strengthen your container if you prepare the space in some way. You might want to create a small alter or intentional focus that helps you shift from its everyday use to a sacred space for practice.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LOG INTO ZOOM A GOOD 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE SESSION STARTS SO WE CAN DEAL WITH ANY TECHNICAL ISSUES. AS WE NEED TO START THE MUSIC TOGETHER, IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO LET IN LATE COMERS. I WILL CLOSE THE ZOOM ROOM BY 7.10PM. SO PLEASE BE ON TIME. When you register you will be given a mixcloud link. Please make sure you have the mixcloud app and that you have the link ready before you join the session. We will begin together on Zoom. The sessions will have an introduction and move into some shared movement inquiry that prepares us and connects us before we enter into our solo exploration. At the end of the movement section we will come back together and have shared time to ground and complete.
